Hero Evaluation Method

How to decide which Realm Defense hero to raise first

Hero value changes by account stage. Early accounts need reliable wave control and anti-air coverage; mid-game accounts need Boss handling and lane insurance; late-game tournament players care more about blessed heroes, cooldown cycles, and tower support.

Early campaign priorities

Raise heroes that solve multiple common problems: flying enemies, fast ground leaks, and bulky waves. Fee and Lancelot cover basic progression, while control heroes such as Efrigid or Connie make difficult lanes easier to stabilize.

Mid-game role coverage

Once maps split into several lanes, one damage hero is not enough. Build a small roster with one crowd-control pick, one burst or Boss answer, and one hero who can delay enemies while towers finish the wave.

Tournament judgment

In tournaments, the blessed hero can be worth using even when the normal tier list would not favor them. Compare the blessed bonus with the map type: long choke maps reward control, while short open maps often demand faster burst.
